Verlioka tomato refers to early ripening varieties (the fruiting of the plant occurs, as a rule, 95-100 days after germination). That is, subject to the recommended planting density - three plants per square meter - approximately 4.5-5 kilograms of fruit.
The Verlioka tomato is grown both in various kinds of film shelters and greenhouses, and in the open field by planting potted seedlings. The fruits of this variety ripen early and all together, while a high percentage of fruit setting and intensive crop formation are possible even under conditions high humidity and insufficient sunlight.
This tomato variety has a weak type of growth, which greatly simplifies its care. In addition, Verlioka is resistant to diseases such as fusarium, brown spot and tobacco mosaic, which means that it does not require additional treatments with various chemicals. Such unpretentiousness in care and low susceptibility to diseases made this tomato variety one of the most popular, in particular, for growing in unheated greenhouses... In addition, due to the relatively small size of the fruits of this variety, it is suitable not only for fresh consumption and preparation of various dishes, but also for canning in small jars.
