The best varieties of white cabbage

Early maturing varieties:

Cossack. From the moment of transplantation to maturation, 45-55 days pass. A head of cabbage weighs about 0.8-1.2 kg, average density. The variety is resistant to black leg disease and is slightly susceptible to other diseases.

Mid-season varieties:

Glory-1305. The ripening period of this variety is 80-90 days from the moment of transplanting the seedlings. Heads of cabbage are large, 2.4-4.5 kg, very dense. One of the best varieties in terms of yield.

S-12 Jubilee. Heads of cabbage ripen in 90-95 days. Heads of cabbage with a high density, weighing on average 2.5-4 kg. Cabbage of this variety is stored for up to 5 months and is indispensable for pickling and cooking hodgepodge, the highest scores for taste.

Late-ripening varieties:

Turkiz. On the 115-125 day, you can already get ripe heads of cabbage. Differs in very dense heads of cabbage that do not crack, long shelf life. Suitable for fresh use and for fermentation.

Amager. Ripening period 120-125 days. Heads of cabbage are rounded-flattened, cracking of this variety is almost impossible, heads of cabbage of excellent density weighing 3.6 kg. When stored in winter, the taste only improves.

Of course, there are a great many varieties of cabbage, but those varieties of white cabbage that are described above are champions in terms of ripening each in their group. I advise you to pay attention to them when choosing a seed.
