For all its great usefulness, onions are a very unpretentious plant, so growing it is not difficult. Forcing onions on a green feather can be carried out all year round, in the warm season - on the balcony, in the winter - on the windowsill.
It is most convenient to grow onions at home using deep plates. By the size of the plate, you need to cut a circle out of cardboard, make about 20-25 round holes in it, having a diameter of 25 to 30 mm, and lower it into the melted paraffin so that it does not become limp in the water in the future. You can use aluminum to prepare such a mug.
Next, pour raw water into a plate, dilute 1 g of a mixture of salts in it and cover with a prepared circle. Then, the bulbs must be planted on the holes in the mug so that their root part is in contact with water (the tops of the bulbs must be cut off beforehand). First, the plate is kept in a dark place (3 to 5 days), then placed in the light (for example, on a window).
The feather grows in 3-5 weeks. Caring for such a bow is very simple and consists only in the timely addition of water. To accelerate growth, you can add boric acid and potassium permanganate to it (per 100 grams of water, respectively 0.2 grams and 0.1 grams).
Also, growing onions at home can be done in boxes with soil and peat soil. To speed up the distillation, 1-2 days before planting, turnip onions are pre-soaked in warm water, and then planted close to boxes. In the first 10 days, he does not need light, but after sprouting onions, the boxes need to be exposed to light and water the plants regularly.
