Drip irrigation of tomato: advantages and benefits of application

All life on this planet simply needs water, without it, living organisms cannot survive for several days. Inhabitants in the garden beds especially need watering, because it provides them with adequate nutrition and growth.

Traditional irrigation - sprinkling, furrow irrigation or overflow irrigation, very often lead to negative consequences, especially for such a picky plant as a tomato. That is why gardeners recommend drip irrigation of tomatoes. This method ensures the timely supply of water to the plants, the amount they need, and also serves as an obstacle to fungal diseases. After such watering, the soil at the roots of the plants is not covered with a crust and the roots breathe freely. With this irrigation system, the foliage remains dry, and the fruits practically do not rot.

Drip irrigation of a tomato is carried out exactly under the tomato root with a special device, which is not at all difficult to do at home. To do this, you will need a water supply, a drip irrigation tape, a disc filter, a pressure regulator, a pipe for a distribution pipeline, fittings and taps and other peripherals for attaching all these parts. Of course, a detailed description of the manufacture of a drip irrigation system is quite voluminous and complex, but the result will exceed all expectations.

In addition, the drip irrigation system is used not only for irrigation, but also for organic fertilization of tomatoes. In order for the irrigation system to be used for fertilization, a special reservoir is connected under it, where, in fact, fertilizers are poured.
