There are dozens of species of Hibiscus, we are now talking about Hibiscus syriacus, very common in our gardens. It is a vigorous shrub with deciduous leaves, easy to cultivate. Find a place in the garden, in a sunny place, as a single specimen but also to produce large flowery borders. It is a hardy and resistant plant, which does not fear cold, heat or drought. We will only need to be vigilant at the beginning of spring that is not attacked by aphids, which generally tend to colonize the tender shoots. It produces large bell-shaped flowers, pink, blue, fuchsia, very decorative. After flowering we can freely prune the plant, if it needs containment, even if pruning is not strictly necessary.
